Also.. the interviewed the guys neighbor and they said "cop???" He's not a cop he's a real estate agent!

Apparently we are supposed to now believe the guy is a Minneapolis cop who took security jobs on the side for extra money.

But we are also supposed to believe at the same time he and his wife were wealthy realtors who owned homes in multiple states??

So he had time to be a full time cop, a realtor and a security guard?????

There were also inconsistencies with the officers badges and the way the EMTs threw Floyd in the ambulance still cuffed.

Doesn't really answer your "why" question, but Minnesota Statute 168.012 specifically exempts marked police patrol vehicles (and other government vehicles), not just Minneapolis Police vehicles.

(b) Provided the general appearance of the vehicle is unmistakable, the following vehicles are not required to register or display number plates:

(1) vehicles owned by the federal government;

(2) fire apparatuses, including fire-suppression support vehicles, owned or leased by the state or a political subdivision;

(3) police patrols owned or leased by the state or a political subdivision; and
