January 23, 2018, Dana Boente was named general counsel to the FBI by Director Christopher Wray. Wray didn’t force him to resign. Sounds like Wray is in hot water!

Boente is a sleazy slimy character. I figured he was leveraged by white hats and made a cooperating witness... but I never liked him there. Note this comes days before Rosenstein testifies and then things are all going to become much clearer.
