“I saw at least 4 patients yesterday getting checked for Covid who spent the weekend at the beach.”

Isn’t the incubation period for this bug around 14 days or so? Wouldn’t that make this week too soon for symptoms to appear?

“Out of 48 patients I saw yesterday we checked at least 35 for Covid.”

How many tested positive? How many are symptomatic? How many required hospitalization?

Do you have the answers to any of these questions?

The normal incubation time is around 5 days. IIRC, 14 days is at the 99.9% certainty level.

That said - if a teen catches this virus, so what? Keep the kid away from any elderly for the next couple of weeks. Done!
