I had esophageal cancer and survived. Now 17 years. It required radical surgery. But was more like stage 3. I don’t think that is what he has because for someone like him would have had earlier detection as a result of more extensive regular physicals. It is preventable and treatable.

My dad was diagnosed with small cell carcinoma of the lungs and he lived less than year. He continued to smoke and worked up until the week he died. He just got weaker and weaker. I think he did some chemo and radiation but that was just to “get his affairs in order” of which he didn't, he just worked.

I had esophageal cancer and survived.

Same here, stage 4, diagnosed in April 2017, in hospice since December 2017 when it was determined surgery would have to be too radical, and hence ineffective.

It's not the end of the world, because none of us is destined to live forever in this time and place. God takes care of all, if one allows God to.

As for being indispensable, while Rush Limbaugh is certainly unique, no one is indispensable. Someone else will evolve to take his place.
