Very interesting. Makes sense too. Back in the day we checked the high voltage flyback circuit of color TVs with a NE-2 neon bulb. It would glow if the flyback was working. If an neon bulb glows when placed near your microwave oven, it's "Houston, we have a problem."

Those microwave meters look like a good idea too. Thanks for the link to the article. One thing about microwaves is that like all EM radiation, they follow an inverse square law so that a few feet of distance drops radiation levels very low. And 5G radiation has a very hard time penetrating buildings.

I think 5G will be a big disappointment. If you can't use it inside, what's the point?
