The videos showing him in the house don’t show any curiosity about electrical work. He never looked up to see the camera.
The owner was concerned and had posted security camera images online from prior incursions.
He was a repeat visitor to the site. Unlikely he was a tourist looking at the wiring on repeated trips. He sure didnt want to talk about what hed seen.
He ran out of there and charged at people who tried asking him questions.
It doesnt make the actions of the other 2 defendable. But you are turning a blind eye to the situation.
When I said seriously criminal, I meant the act that got the chase started in the first place.
If Arbery had just beaten someone up, or had just thrown a Molotov cocktail into a house...then yes, let the armed citizen chase begin.
But it seems that on that day the worst thing Arbery did was trespass, and maybe steal a hammer. Bad things, no doubt. And I guess by George law, shotgun guy could have chased Arbery down and held him at gunpoint. So I will not say at this point that shotgun gun is a criminal. But I will say that he made a foolish decision.
If some guy throws a Molotov cocktail through my window, Im grabbing a gun and going after him. But if some guy litters on my front lawn, Im not going to be grabbing a gun. Ill settle with a call to 911.
Your mileage may vary.
25 and still in school? What was he studying? Astronomy? Must be, sounds like he was taking up space. ba dum TSS!!
Three wrongs make you an idiot.
The fact that you were trespassing as a kid, doesn't make it legal.
It is also a good neighbor that watches his neighbor's property.
Can you imagine the cost of hiring security to protect a construction site {a home}?
After this listing, I agree with myself, you really are an idiot.
No, he was running down Fancy Bluff Road.
That takes him under the interstate.
So, do you have the starting address?
Since when does anyone to a tech college to learn to be an electrician??? That is on-the-job training.
The police reports posted online originally had his mother’s home address. That’s been removed or blacked out. I got over ten miles in distance to the address in the Sattila Shores subdivision.
About a mile and a half into his usual route, Ahmaud Arbery would cross the four lanes of Jekyll Island Causeway into the subdivision of Satilla Shores.
I feel sure that Freepers figured out he lived nowhere near Satilla Shores and that running there was not a possibility. That, and other iron-clad facts like "blacks don't run" and "he was wearing work boots" solidified the case against him.
Wrong.
He ran a about .86 miles of a 1 mile loop to the English house.
Looks like about 4.5 minute pace.
anyone go to a tech college
Really? They dont run? You left of the sarcasm tag!
Look for his mother, Wanda Cooper-Jones’, address.
The INCIDENT occurred in February, before the idea of a lockdown was on the table

Yes, usually by formal apprenticeships. But those also involve a significant amount of classroom work and written tests that need to be passed.
Before Arberys name joined a litany of hashtags bearing young black mens names, he was a skinny kid whose dreams of an NFL career didnt pan out. Those who knew him speak of a seemingly bottomless reservoir of kindness he used to encourage others, of an easy smile and infectious laughter that could lighten just about any situation.

Go watch the video of sweet little Ahmaud cursing out the cop. Yeah... he was just a little sweetheart.
Looks like he lived about two miles away. Try again.
Police don’t respond to theft calls anymore. Certainly not now in the age of CV.
They say that it takes several thousand in losses for them to come out but that is bullsh!t. There is a million dollar crime ring in Houston that steals appliances from new home construction sites. Thousands of them. Slap on the wrist. No bail bond.
I know a friend who’s business never recovered when someone broke in and stole their wiring shortly before his business was going to open.
Casing a target is common activity.
Wasn’t the Ferguson, MO “gentle giant” enrolled in “college” for the fall as well?
And frankly only the owners business not the neighbors. If the owners were concerned they could hire security.

From what I read the owner contacted the police who suggested that he have the father keep an eye on the place - so basically they were all doing exactly what you suggest.
