When LIB Govs are pushing THIS hard to mandate something, and we’ve seen proof of how unhinged Dems can weaponize agencies, I say NO THANKS!!
I’m not in favor of anything being mandated. To the best of my knowledge, CDC’s manual assumes voluntary cooperation only (e.g. they ask you questions, you choose whether to help, if you do, they follow procedures on contacting people to warn them they’ve been exposed to someone - they don’t say who - who is infected and thus should get tested/self quarantine).
I’m fine with that. I may or may not talk to them depending on the situation, and I think it’s fine if some choose to cooperate and others don’t. But mandated compliance? Definitely no on board with that. I think my memory will suddenly develop (even more) problems.
