Do people really want to live like that?

Unless they are like the elderly neighbors, they are not living. They are simply existing day to day. They are worried about getting it, but haven't gone outside in months because you went on a bike ride without a mask and will now infect the entire grocery store. Do they really not think the virus wasn't spreading back in March when EVERYONE was crammed in the grocery store fighting over the last cans of Tuna?

Right?

Or prior to that when our co workers were out sick. Or half of our students with something other than the flu.

One of my daughter’s got sick right New Years, sometime in January. Sick for two months (she’s 27), fever, chronic cough, etc. Tested negative for the flu. On Antibiotics, bronchitis cough meds, etc. She’d never been so sick. Coughed so much she threw up. For weeks. Whatever she had, it wasn’t the flu since she tested negative.

Existing not living. I can’t. I don’t want to live like that. That’s not living. What disease requires families not to see each other for months? What disease requires Sacraments not to be administered for months? What disease requires weddings, funerals, First Communions, Graduations, not to happen? Families not having get togethers because we go over the 10 or whatever number chosen because the virus stops at 10?

But it’s ok to go to the grocery store or walmart? With strangers.

It doesn’t make any damn sense. IMO
