I think you’re right, I grew up knowing a lot of Todd’s and one of them was actually named Todd. I swear that the Todd character in Beavis & Butthead was actually somehow ripped off from my own hometown.

I’ve known a few Todds, and either they were idiots or jocks (sometimes both).

I could swear that the Beavis and Butthead characters were ripped off from a couple of my classmates.
The boys didn’t just look like Beavis and Butthead, they spoke, sounded and behaved just like them. Sadly, they were as intelligent as Beavis and Butthead. And, like the animated duo, they were inseparable.
The first time I watched Beavis and Butthead, I did a double take because of the resemblance.
