The little tourist town I live in has done this. Made it a law on May 6th expiring on June 10th. (just in time for 2 million tourists. Or would be 2 mil in a normal year) I had no idea so, after being home alone for 19 days, I went to town yesterday to get my mail and grocery shop.
A very rude little girl at Safeway ordered me to leave the store. I thought it was a store policy until I went to the auto parts store and noticed the little sign on the door saying it was a town ordinance.
Can’t remember when I’ve been so POed about something. Totally humiliating. Looks like I’ve got another 25 days before I can go grocery shopping.
amazon delivers a lot of food items. Or you can shop online and have them bring it to your car
Tell them you have a medical condition that precludes wearing a mask. If they ask what it is, invoke HIPAA or ADA and remind them that lawsuits aren’t fun.
