That’s not what the rules say; the removal from the gene pool has to be “spectacular” and the victim be uncharacteristically foolish at the time.

2. Excellence (Astounding misapplication of judgment)
3. Self-Selection (Cause one’s own demise)
4. Maturity (Capable of sound judgment)
5. Veracity (The event must be true)

Out of the five rules (or criteria) to qualify for a Darwin, I do not see how the victim qualified on number 4. Physical maturity does not seem to be what is meant there.
