A lot of them acted scared, but not of the virus. Quite a few of them, IMHO, ended their own careers. They demonstrated they are not particularly talented or attractive without the actual talented people that do their hair and makeup, write lines for them to read, and do the camera work and editing that shows them at their best.
I agree that they weren’t scared about the virus. But they looked scared and most of them aren’t that good at acting to be that convincing. They let their masks slip and it wasn’t pretty.
