Anyone who was not around for the government’s 1975 swine
flu vaccine debacle would be wise to research it. This
vaccine is being rushed through development by a bunch of
people desperate to save face. The odds of bad things
happening are quite high.

Well I was here for that, and also for fast-tracked Salk
Vaccine of 1955. Cutter Labs produced a bad batch
administered to over 200 thousand people.

The mass vaccination program had to be suspended within a
month-70Thousand cases of muscle weakness, 164 cases of
sever paralysis, 10 deaths. 75% of the paralyzed were that
way the rest of their lives. This was more than the average
occurance with out vaccine.

And in short order, there was the SV40 contamination which
has been associated with certain types of cancer. SV 40
stands for the 40th Simian Virus identified -happens because
they use monkey kidneys.

In 1977 Dr. Salk testified in Congress that the oral polio
vaccine had caused most of the polio cases in the USA since
the early 1960s.

What sort of virus/disease was Polio?
-75% of people would have no symptoms
-1 in 4 would have flu like symptoms for 2-5 days
-1 of 200 would have weakness or paralysis, but many
recovered
-2-10% of the paralyzed died

I was part of the initial 1954 trial. The next year my
parents refused to sign the permission slip so I was lucky—
every one at my school that got the vaccine that year got
sick and threw up all over the place.

Everyone is entitled to informed consent - to know the risks
and to know that the vaccine has not been contaminated. They
should also be entitled to decline any medical procedure
including vaccines(especially new ones) and take their
chances.

We don't take the seasonal flu shot and we sure are not taking a covid vaccine. 😆 First they make the vaccine mandatory. Then they hand you an immunity card. Next you are asked to show your immunity card at the grocery and pharmacy. If you don't have one you don't get food or meds. Now you are a slave.

Sorry to jump on you about that. I am glad that your blessed to not have any adverse flu shot effects. The data shows that many do. I do not agree with any mandated vaccines as a condition of employment. I probably have done way more than most in researching the vaccine issue and I am well know to my Congressional Rep. as I make my views well know to him.

Look, I’m what you call a “movement conservative”, meaning I’ve been actively involved in grass-roots activism since the Reagan campaign. A lot of friends dated back to the Goldwater years, but sadly, many of them are either too old to be involved much, or their health doesn’t allow it.

So, before anything existed on line. I’m sure you remember those days as well.

And one thing that has always fizzed on the fringes of that movement were the conspiracy nuts. We had gold bugs, the JBS moaning on about virtually everything, you name it. And now we’ve got the on-line version. Q-Anon, anti-Vaxers (who back in the day were confined to the liberal granola gang) , well you get the idea.

I realize that a huge populist wave washed over what had been remaining of that movement, and that those times have changed.

What hasn’t changed is the fringe conspiracy theorists always fall back to “you don’t understand!” when they are unable to explain their crackpot ideas in a cogent manner that might actually change someone’s mind. Well, that and sputtering insults, which has the same effect.

So I don’t like Gates or Soros politic’s any more than you do, but they can be more effectively resisted if we direct our fire where the enemy actually is, rather than where our fevered imaginings would like them to be.
