I've known this was coming for a long time now, and it's
one of those things that gets me marked as a tin foil hat
wearing nutjob.

This IS the biblical "Mark Of The Beast" (whether you
believe in the Bible or not). The implications of this
are very real, and actually very meaningful in many ways
different and beyond the biblical description.

However, the world is heading there at a rapid pace.
This kind of tracking capability will give the 4th beast of Daniel 7:23 unprecedented power to control people. It will keep getting worse, I’m sorry to say.
The 4th beast (political government entity) is basically a world-governing power, IMHO. Very strong and exceedingly dreadful.

Lose the privilege to own a drivers license and you lose the privilege to drive. Lose that and you lose the liberty to travel where you want,on your own that is or avoid the stress of having ride a crowed commuter bus or train to work.
A slightly less snarky way to express that might be to say:
“That governments not going to get me with their potentially
poisonous or immorally created stuff, complete with tracking
database infrastructure support and control.”

There is no need to give you an RFID tag
Which isn’t even what is suggested is happening in this article only the syringe is ‘tagged’.
Especially since you already voluntarily pay each month to be tracked via your cell phone and it’s IP address.
And more than a silly and limited RFID tag attached To a syringe, your phone provides real time data from two still cameras, a video camera, a microphone, a satellite GPS location devices as well a record of all text or email conversations, your internet browsing history as well a list of all your friends and family and thier contact information.
Now you may think HIPPA laws protect your privacy.
But here’s a little example of what I can do AND HAVE DONE with just your phone location.
let’s say you go to the pharmacy to fill your prescription.
I take two lists, one a list of what medications were sold and at what time.
I add the list of Ip addresses inside the store when the medicine purchase was made.
Then I just compare lists from other days and which phones were in the store.
Now I know what pills ‘your phone’ bought and how frequently
And I can send you an ad for that medication just before you are about to run out.
But without ‘violating your privacy’
