Consider an old man with congestive heart failure. A thug pushes that old man down a flight of stairs. The old man dies. But a younger, healthier man would have survived. Is the old man’s death due to congestive heart failure, or is due to the thug? I’d say the thug. The thug murdered that old man.
The same goes with these coronavirus-related deaths. To minimize them is to minimize the damage Red China has done to the rest of the world.
