I just went on a flu-bro rant on Facebook. Started with an innocent survey - do you wear a mask in public. I answered no. Most people I know and like said “no”. But a few said “yes” and one poster, a doctor that I know, was adamant about wearing a mask whenever around people.
I was surprised, but then again, she’s a military physician and, well, if the government says “jump” and you’re in the military, you answer had better be “how high?”.
Anyway, I talked all about how the virus was weaponized to pry people away from their constitutional rights, and how the numbers were inflated, how governors from a certain political party shunned the use of HCQ, despite it being used very successfully in the medical community in free states, and how I’ve been around over 60 years and have NEVER seen a reaction like this, and have NEVER been asked to wear a mask in public.
And after the rant, I said I’d give the mask wearing a bit more consideration.
I consider a mask the same as a hand stamp to get into a party.
I'll wear it to get into the party, but never else.
I wish I lived in a more derpish part of the state/country. I eagerly await some npc derp fearbro getting in my face about having no mask. I hope it gets YouTubed.
