The other secrets inside Grenell’s satchel are the key to the biggest political scandal in US history
American Thinker ^ | 14 May, 2020 | Thomas Lifson

That satchel that Acting DNI Ric Grenell personally delivered to the Department of Justice on May 7, 2020 was far too big for a just a list of the 39 Obama administration officials, including his chief of staff and ambassador to Italy. Those higher ups have been exposed as requesting the unmasking of General Flynn. But there must have been a lot more inside, and that material, voluminous to require a briefcase-sized container, and that is the key to exposing the real extent of the spy operation that President Obama carried out on his political enemies, and the unmasking of General Michael Fynn is just the tip of the iceberg.

That is the basic message of this long and fascinating post by retired naval officer J.E. Dyer at Liberty Unyielding. I urge those who take a keen interest in the subject to read the whole thing, for it is full of technical points and complexities, but I will offer my own perspective on the thesis advanced by Ms. Dyer who tweets under the name OptimisticCon. The post was sent to me by a counterintelligence professional who noted that it reinforced the point I made yesterday:

SNIP

The key message is that for years, the Obama administration was mining the incomparable database of the National Security Agency (NSA), which captured virtually all electronic communications – emails, text messages, everything – launched into the ether. The potential for abuse is breathtaking. Everything that political enemies said to each other, except in private in-person conversations or in snail mail letters, could have been spied upon. And now it looks like staggering numbers of intercepts were spied upon. Dyer makes that case:

not only his family...IMHO...also every single contributor to his campaign.

The DP/derps intent was to rain he$% on any one daring to support an “outsider” attempting to breach the DS gates in Washington DC

The baker returned the favor the day of the wedding with the multi-layered cake. The future favor was to come from the undertaker.

Yet not a single Democrat traitor has been indicted

It's difficult in DC and the RATs know it. Any jury you get in DC is going to be a OJ jury - so even if the evidence is unquestionable, not likely to convict.

And DAs are graded on their 'kill ratio' - so they hesitate to try an bring cases against Democrats in the DC Circuit. Joesph DiGenova has talked about this in the past.

I agree, the corrupt left should get payback. SWAT raids and perp walks for a long list of scumbags. The corruption may just be too deep for them to turn on each other.

I’ve seen another term used by the intelligence community called a FISA-702 query that is in the form of “about” or “to/from”. And I think this differs from an unmask request. In the case of FISA-702 queries, you can actually search the NSA database by name to see what comes up. Is this a correct definition, because I don’t think these procedures have been clarified in the news stories.

I’d sure like to hear their story about the ambassador of Italy.
+++++
I will be very surprised if 100% of the requests to unmask Flynn were related to the now obvious coup that was taking place. There could have been a legitimate reason for the Italian ambassadors request.

Or maybe there wasn’t.

Interesting times. Stay tuned.

You are correct. He then repaid Vito by “using all his powers, so that his mother doesn't have to see him like this”

or something along those lines. Don Vito: “look how they massacred my boy”

Good links.

One thing that no one is speculating on:

Was the Obama’s lame-duck attack on Israel a parting shot against a country the left hates? His expulsion of the Russians a way to gin up more controversy around Russian hacking?

The recent revelation of closing an investigation against Flynn reveals that both actions were taken after they had the wiretaps on Flynn in place. So people should back up a step and consider if Obama took both actions on the advice of Brennan and Clapper BECAUSE they expected Flynn to immediately reach out to both countries.

Good point and you might be right. It is hard to piece together the exact machinations of the landmines they seeded for Trump during the transition, but your suggestion on Israel would have followed the apparent playbook with Russia.

We know that Barr went to our 5-eye intelligence partners personally. We don’t know why. What if he has asked them to prepare their own reports on what they did at the request of Brennan?

It is all speculative, but despite the willful ignorance of the GOPe and uniparty types in DC, the dam appears to have finally broken.

All FReepers need to watch the Edward Snowden movie and absorb what he says. He is frankly not a likeable character in many ways to me, but nobody to my knowledge has ever refuted what Snowden says our intelligence has built and what the capabilities mean to our privacy. It is frightening.

The potential for abuse of such a system is staggering.

We have known of this for years but only now is breaking out into larger society but still not mainstream because we have the enemy controlling the bulk of what society learns. But that’s changing in our favor Thank God.

Other things that the enemy has done and can do especially through the now closed 7th Floor and Rogue parts of CIA:

* Turn you smartphone camera on without a light or indication.

* Grab from your smartphone photos, texts, docs, emails, anything and send it to a server without your knowledge.

* Use your smartphone to hear you and your phone conversations and TRACK everywhere you go whether or not you’re using your phone.

* Use your smartphone to zero in on traffic cameras and other stationary cameras to bring you up on screen (courtesy of the NGA refined by Clapper).

* Stuff incriminating photos and docs onto your smartphone without you knowing, e.g. child pornography.

* Use Satellite comms to direct onboard computers in your motor vehicle causing cruise control or other controls unknown to you to accelerate your speed causing an accident where you die.

Me, on 5/11/2020 I want to know who these contractors are and what they did with the data.

Following the trail from this article brought me to this...Beyond Biden, Brennan, and Clapper: How Grenell’s satchel tells us this is on the right track
The exposed contractors were very likely to be individuals from the same company who worked government contracts that that company held with both agencies.
The company is the one John Brennan was president of from 2005 to 2009: The Analysis Corporation. A major reason this hypothesis resonates is that the TAC contract with both agencies is for database maintenance and analysis. (The contracts are still active. They were very long ones, obtained in 2008 and 2009, running into hundreds of millions of dollars.)

Now I know a little bit more about who those unknown contractors I was thinking about the other day may be.
Pointing the finger at Crowdstrike and Fusion GPS may be misdirection/cover...IMHO.
Look there, not anywhere else. YMMV

That article you referenced is amazing, detailed, well written, with understandable (though complex) explanations, and it fits, and makes sense.

It also is truly scary although it is pretty much what I figured they were doing. This is indeed a battle and no one fighting the our country should drop these issues despite the dang virus crap sucking up so much of everyone’s oxygen.
