I’ve never had a flu shot. And I’ll never have this flu shot either. It’s just not that dangerous. Take care of yourself and if you are already not prone to getting the flu (I’m not) you’ll be fine.
Probably.
And all of life is “probably”. Otherwise we’d all go insane worrying about the things that might kill us.
Ditto I haven’t had the flu in 25 years. I don’t take the flu shot and I’m sure not taking the covid vaccine.
I can’t represent myself as a “vaccine denier.” Having grown up in the Air Force and over the course of 20 years in the Army and multiple deployments, I got more shots than I can possibly count; I had three of those little yellow vaccination booklets full of stuff I couldn’t identify. I suffered no ill effects from most of them, but I also had to take mandatory flu shots every year and every damned one of them made me very sick and, in most years, I got the flu anyway, all of which is reflected in my medical records.
I’ve taken no flu shots since I retired from the Army 25 years ago and I’ve had the flu four times. So, at this point in my life, to say that I’m eager to take a quickly-developed vaccine for something that’s only mildly worse than the flu would be incorrect.
