Yes. Smart & Final has dual use implications. For instance, the government can also use this phrase to schedule your cremation at the local death panel, before you even get sick.

Same here. This is just the usual fearmongering.

Remember Zeke Emanuel’s no reason to live beyond age 75? He’s become the key health adviser to the CT guv now—because Zeke and the guv’s wife are on the same hedge fund board.

And who can forget Gates’s hypothetical as to what is more valuable to society—that last 3 months of health care or hiring another 5 teachers?

My wife and I have not ever worn masks except at Costco since they forced masks about two weeks ago.

We only have gas masks (P-100) and we enjoy the looks we get.

“Smart and Final” and “Winco” are real grocery store names. I know what you mean about them sounding fake. Years ago, when we first moved to Rockford, Illinois, the two big local grocery stores were “Logli” and Highlander. I had it in my head that Logli had to be a lumber yard and Highlander was a discount home improvement center. Both were just big supermarkets, and Logli is pronounced “Lohg-lee”.

I stopped at a small town fabric store yesterday. I thought I should buy the stuff to make a few masks. They told me I couldn’t come in without a mask. They didn’t offer to sell me a mask either. I also needed vacuum bags which they sell at an inflated price. I took myself over to hobby lobby to find the stuff to make masks. They allowed me in. We purchased vacuum bags from Amazon at a much cheaper price.
