I maintain this is a real life Twilight Zone episode. If I watched this experience on that series, I would have thought little of it. But which episode most represents? "The Old Man in the Cave" is somewhat representative.

We had a deer walk down the middle of our suburban street at 2 p.m. It has been 20 years since I’ve seen one and that was early morning. I think there was a scene in “The Walking Dead” that was like that - empty streets and a deer.
