To: Bull Snipe
some of my favorite photos of WWII are the T-34s & IS-2s, crewed by the untermenschen, rolling down the streets of the capital of the Herrenvolke, aka Berlin.

I'm glad the Nazis were defeated, but I wished we could have avoided the Russians becoming so powerful as a result. They seized the eastern half of Europe and kept it for quite a long time.

Of course at the time, the Russians were the only ones strong enough to defeat Hitler, so I guess you have to use the army you brought, rather than the one you wish you had.

IMO, it took the combined military and economic power of the United States, the USSR and the British Empire to defeat Germany in WWII. Without that combination, none were of sufficient strength to do the job alone.
