To: Bull Snipe
Yes, i've read that the German army had some sort of strange hatred of Russians and considered them "sub human" or something. I've read many accounts of them engaging in brutality and callous behavior regarding Russians, and I don't quite understand where this motivation came from.

Of course in this era, the Germans thought they were better than everyone else, so I guess they just had varying degrees of this "untermenschen" arrogance.

some of my favorite photos of WWII are the T-34s & IS-2s, crewed by the untermenschen, rolling down the streets of the capital of the Herrenvolke, aka Berlin.
