Rush has an audience of 30 gazillion people. That covers a wide swath of personalities, backgrounds, but probably mostly Trump supporters.
Perhaps Rush is following a script tailored for his massive audience, and is trying to keep people from getting their hopes up too much. Then whatever happens to the derps will be a pleasant surprise.

WHOA! Full stop.
He’s just a TV yakker but the ability to unmask a US citizen who was caught incidentally on surveillance is NOT a small deal! Those access codes are not to be shared around and given to others like they were baseball trading cards.
They have to choose: Either they admit they personally did in fact make the unmasking request, OR they have to explain who they gave their access code to, and why.
And that better be made a federal felony damn quickly if it’s not already. Someone who knows the security laws ought to be able to say with certainty that allowing someone else to use your unmasking access code is a crime or not.

I consider that sufficient legal experience to file an amicus brief on behalf of General Flynn.
