And you think being from the South means owning people, because you’re willfully ignorant. You hate people you know nothing about, because you’re too stubborn to learn the truth. You hold another group of people up as a lucky charm, because you’re too arrogant to see them as real people. You judge everyone based on where they and their ancestors are from. You assume they have certain thoughts and character traits, based solely on where they and their ancestors are from. You assume you’re not capable of the bigotry you accuse others of, as you put your bigotry on full display. Oh, but you can’t be a bigot. You’ve met a couple of them and treated them as if you thought they were your equals. You can’t be a bigot. You despise all Souhernors, and that’s what you’ve decided is the first requirement of not being a bigot. And you fail to see the hypocrisy in your views.
