I assume the Kel-Tek P380 is the same because it is what Ruger copied (violated patent, yes) when they made the LCP.
OTOH I have tried a Glock model 42 at a range and while it worked well for me, it jammed when my wife tried it.
So my thinking is to heck with it, if I'm beginning to have trouble shooting my 642, which I am, I'm probably better off to acquire a... what's the model number, 521(?) at 11 ounces, with 7 rounds of .22wmr, than to mess around with something like an LCP, or a Glock model 42 which is not a good choice for my wife.
Enough gun to have in one's pocket ALL THE TIME in case of say, a fender bender with a violent temper person, when one isn't carrying a real weapon like an SP101 for example - which would be a better choice, but not always practical.
Another choice might be something in .32 H&R Magnum but I dunno... ammo's kinda pricey and not commonly available...
Ever look at the Sig Sauer P238?
