I had heard that LEOs were checking arrivals at PBI, but I don't know how accurate that is and to what effect..

We don’t have the ‘quarantine gestapo’ going around and checking.And the inverse of that is someone with a bad cough and snotty nose insisting they are not sick.
It will take something in the middle to make this work.
