Progressives’ unintended consequences are consistently awful.
The CARE Act’s huge disincentive of paying MORE on unemployment than working the job...WTF?! (But then, THAT was not unintended by the D’rats.)
They could have as easily reversed the incentive. WHEN you go back to work you have zero deductions on your check for 6 months... etc. My son has 6 employees. Only 1 will come back, and he only agreed to come back for 13 hours or less per week so that he could maintain his unemployment benefits.

Happening all over. Businesses that can be open have lost their workers and can’t find replacements (younger people with very low Cv19 risk). So they’re closed. Many forever.
If this lunacy goes unpunished, America as we’ve known it is dead.
Time for America 2.0 which needs to like the original version. We are no longer a free country.

I think, actually, America 1.2 began after the CW, and America 2.0 began in the 1910’s (with income tax, the Federal Reserve, 19A, progressivism, then other crap later) — socialist America.
Progressives want America 2.1 now.
Conservatives want America 1.2 back.
