It’s not really a drug. It’s a common over-the-counter supplement of something that the body makes itself. Glutathione is an extremely strong anti-oxidant and one of the major mechanisms through which the body detoxes. It often isn’t absorbed very well in the gut through oral supplements though. The liposomal version is much better absorbed, and it can also be given intravenously. Lots of people take precursors instead like NAC, so that the body can make more of it naturally. Most people would benefit from extra glutathione, even if they don’t have the coronavirus.
Very interesting that both hydroxychcloroqine and L-Glutathione are used for problems associated with parasites...
Smart kid, never even heard of that drug..they need to test it out on other folks with the virus see if it makes them betterIt's not actually a drug. It is a nutritional supplement like you would buy over the counter at at GNC. In this case, an amino acid.
The Twenty Amino Acids
The twenty amino acids (that make up proteins)each have assigned to them both
three-letter (can be upper or lower case) and
one-letter codes (upper case). This makes it quicker and easier for notation purposes and are worth learning. The following list gives these notations along with hypertext references to download amino acid
gif images and also
interactive molecules.
The format of the list is: amino acid name - 3 letter code - 1 letter code (reference to gif image, reference to interactive molecule)
- alanine - ala - A- L-Alanine
- arginine - arg - R - L-Arginine
- asparagine - asn - N - L-Asparagine
- aspartic acid - asp - D - L-Aspartate
- cysteine - cys - C - L-Cysteine
- glutamine - gln - Q - L-Glutamine
- glutamic acid - glu - E - L-Glutamate
- glycine - gly - G - L-Glycine
- histidine - his - H - L-Histidine
- isoleucine - ile - I - L-Isoleucine
- leucine - leu - L - L-Leucine
- lysine - lys - K - L-Lysine
- methionine - met - M - L-Methionine
- phenylalanine - phe - F - L-Phenylalanine
- proline - pro - P - L-Proline
- serine - ser - S - L-Serine
- threonine - thr - T - L-Threonine
- tryptophan - trp - W- L-Tryptophan
- tyrosine - tyr - Y - L-Tyrosine
- valine - val - V - L-Valine
Sometimes it is not possible two differentiate two closely related amino acids, therefore we have the special cases:
- asparagine/aspartic acid - asx - B
- glutamine/glutamic acid - glx - Z

Weight Lifters and Body Builders have used specific Amino Acid supplements for many years.
