"The lockdown rule was always going to be interpreted by Dems in a way that is tyrannical."

Indeed it is. The Austin mayor is making it more clear by the day that he and his sidekick (Travis County judge) are going to keep up their fun of oppressing their citizens.

For example, the mayor tweeted this last night "Healthy Streets: in the wake of this pandemic, we’ll soon have safe, socially distanced outdoor exercise & alternative transportation methods in neighborhoods to ensure Austinites can enjoy essential outdoor activity "

Get that? We'll soon have safe....so that Austinites can enjoy ESSENTIAL outdoor activity. Who decides what's essential? The mayor incessantly repeats "let's get used to the new normal". This is beyond ridiculous and I expect lawsuits are going to be the remedy to shut their grand plans down, ultimately.

I hope the lawsuits fly. I am afraid it’s going to erupt into rioting and physical violence. Tensions are running high and the pot is about to boil over. All it will take is an inexperienced cop to be in a bad position during a protest or trying to arrest someone without a mask on shooting someone, a fearbro seriously injuring someone in a confrontation over a mask, or some. it was on our side going postal on a fearbro and the powder keg will be lit.....
