This pandemic has forced a lot of innovation on businesses that never risked innovating before.
Still a shame of course.
“Vietnam charters flight to evacuate 340 citizens from America, ‘the world’s Covid-19 epicenter’. “The first time since the end of the Vietnam War that a Vietnamese carrier had operated a direct flight to and from the US” https://ampe.vnexpress.net/news/news/vietnam-brings-340-citizens-home-from-us-4096523.html ”
Wow! Can’t blame them though.
Also interesting:
” A representative of the airport said this was the first time since the end of the Vietnam War that a Vietnamese carrier had operated a direct flight to and from the U.S.”
Re: 503 - Yeah, that’s for sure. Some will make and some won’t. It will take awhile to assess the economic effects. In the short-time, I think it’s going to be difficult for many businesses.
I also think that Congress is going to be careful in what they provide for additional aid/relief. I think it’s 50/50 for an extension beyond July of the $600/week federal unemployment assistance. Or if it is provided, there will be some additional eligibility requirements, etc.
