This has been on line for several weeks. What happens is that the virus gets into the red blood cells (rbcs) and destroys the heme group that carries the oxygen. Then while people can still use their lungs to breath, they no longer have enough oxygen to function. Intubation is NOT a good thing and often does more harm than good, even killing the patient. Complete rest and oxygen mask or nose tubes is better.
What is really tragic is that while Dr. Vladimir Zelenko contacted Trump twice, Trump was either given a partial message or misunderstood it if he read it. The link below shows his letter, precise 3 part formula for treating patients, and reason for using each part. As explained, the Hydroxychloroquine opens up the cells so that the zinc he advises can enter and slow down or stop the virus from reproducing in the cells. This would definitely help keep the virus from destroying the heme portion of the rbcs. Then the third item which Zelenko uses is the antibiotic Azithromycin to prevent any bacterial lung infecton. A few weeks ago a hospital in Washington, DC reported that about 40% of their lung admissions had MRSA which responds to the Az. antibiotic. At other FR threads, people report that Fauci is a tool of big pharma, and not recommending zinc along with the HCQ would prevent what appears to be a very successful early intervention from succeeding. In fact HCQ alone was used in a recent not very successful trial at a VA hospital. I wonder if they succeeding in killing some of our veterans by not using the zinc.

Subsequently South Korea has been reported to be very successful in stopping the spread of Covid. I researched and discovered they had used HCQ and an anti-HIV medicine called Kaletra. It appears they had the same kind of results as Dr. Zelenko. The HCQ makes blood cells permeable to the drug Kaletra (or zinc) and both Kaletra and zinc are effective in stopping the virus from reproducing in the cells. Zinc is cheaper and you don’t need a prescription.
