Super! It must have gone well...will be pain/discomfort for a couple weeks - mostly when having to sit on the toilet...the rest of the time will be pretty good and if he follows the physical therapists regimen, normal walking in 2-3 weeks and after that it just gets better until full healing sneaks up...

I'm delighted to hear you're up and about with a walker. I had total hip replacement surgery and it was no fun, so I can empathize. Hope you're home by now. Be careful, be well....and be happy.
