Decades ago I worked with a family from India. One of their daughters (who I also worked with) had been grabbed by a wild monkey and hauled off into a tree when she was an infant.

Those that are big on announcing their support for the science of evolution most, are often the same ones who’d be saying “poor monkey”. You’d think with their belief in the former point, they’d be saying “kill the lowly non-evolved primate”.
