This would happen a lot in the 1950’s over religion..but this??
‘50s? It happened when I married my wife a decade ago (I’m the wrong religeon, you see). Her family completely broke all ties with her, even to the point of her not knowing her father was dying of cancer. Folks are just too damned full of... themselves sometimes.
This Woman-with-a-capital-W made the right call. Good for her and a blessing on their house!
It is a sad commentary on the thinking processes of liberals.
But you must understand that liberalism is a religion. A close minded, highly intolerant one. A secular one, but a religion nonetheless. I do mean that literally.
