Prince Harry has sold a pair of handmade hunting rifles as he bids to please animal-loving wife Meghan Markle. A hunter bought a pair of Purdey firearms, thought to be worth around £50,000, in a private deal five months ago, before the couple quit the UK for Canada and later moved to the US, The Sun reports. A friend of the anonymous buyer said: 'He bought them because he wanted them, not because they belonged to Harry, but he was quite chuffed when he found out.

Thanks very much for the information. I guess it’s one of those you-have-to-be-British things. Interesting that one of the commenters said the negative usage was more common in Canada.
There’s also Harry’s very strong resemblance to a young Prince Phillip. Apparently, though, Phillip got all of the spine AND the testicles for the whole line. :-)

I’m sure he sees himself as “edgy”, “cutting edge”, etc. Giving a big F.U. to the Royal Family, “the system” and any form of conventionality.
He also needs to quit trying to milk his mother’s death for sympathy. She died 23 years ago, for Pete’s sake! If he’s still a wreck 23 years later, something’s not right with him, on the inside.
Agree on both points! Philip remained manly even though married to the most recognized and one of the most influential and powerful women in the world. Harry is an embarrassment to the male of the species.
