Not true. There are hundreds of ships and we have been on many of them. Never been sick or had any outbreaks.
Get your facts straight. Covid-19 was a shock to the world and not just the industry.
I just believe passengers should pick up their own tab, not the taxpayers. They want to risk it, they pay for the damages.
Maybe require passengers to be able to show up front, before they board, they can afford to pay for any medical and other disease associated cost (including “final expenses”. Assets that are liquid or can be quickly converted to cash.
You are incorrect that this type of thing has just suddenly become a problem. I been around a few years and seen more than my share of stories on the Lov...errr...Disease Boats. If someone just fell off the turnip truck it might seem like news, but it’s been an ongoing problem for years and years.
