I think both Carnival and Royal Caribbean will survive because they operate cruise ships on a truly worldwide basis.

Carnival owns nine brands in total. Royal Caribbean IIRC is the largest cruise line. Between the two they’ve pretty much cornered the cruise industry world-wide.
