“Wear masks”

Mo. Those masks do NOTHING but spread disease. They are nasty and contaminated. Even if people had sterile N95 masks, they do little to stop the spread of disease because the virus is not contained to your mouth.

People need to stop acting superstitious and believing having a mask saves them like this is Hogwartz.

Mask is just face saving cover (to coin a phrase) for Fauci, Birx and the CDC who now admit they totally SCROOOOOOOOD the pooch in understanding how this thing spreads.

Masks might have done some good in early March. Maybe.

Most people don't seem to realize that doctors use a medical mask ONCE, then it goes into the medical waste bin. They know how to put them on and take them off without transferring any viruses or bacteria to their hands, face, or clothing.

But people with their improvised masks typically use them over and over; they touch the front of the mask, put them in their pocket, leave them on the table, or on the car seat. This totally negates their purpose.

The virus is contained in your mouth and is primarily spread via leaving one person’s mouth and getting somehow into another’s, usually by getting on their hands in between.

Speaking for two minutes releases as much saliva as a sneeze.

Masks are only a little bit useful in stopping me from getting the disease, but they are VERY useful in stopping you from giving the disease to others. Asymptomatic spread is the secret weapon of this virus. The people spreading it don’t know they have it.
