Were I African american I would perhaps find this less ironic.
The man is making a point. I wouldn’t make it that way. But we are being muzzled and it is not ok.
You may be aware that the KKK went after plenty of people apart from blacks. In the 20's especially they went after Catholics, Jews, Eastern Europeans, others, and just people that resisted them. For one election Cycle, it was illegal for a Catholic to be a teacher in Orange County. They murdered a priest.
