If the girl were infected, it could conceivably be “attempted assault” by overzealous law enforcement. Though I don’t think it would stick, the girl doesn’t seem bright enough to “form intent” for much of anything.

Just that I’ve seen some pretty bizarre “assault” charges over the years! e.g. -
“A West Virginia man accused of passing gas and fanning it toward a police officer no longer faces a battery charge.”
