I wonder how many of these tours will carry on next year.
A number of musicians have retired from touring (arthritis, vocal problems, etc).
Paul McCartney’s voice cracks now. It’s happened to Roger Daltry and postponed their 2019 Who tour to 2020 and now 2021.
The window of opportunity is slipping by. And stages and ticket money will be scarce when things do open up again (can only physically book so many bands in a week even if every venues is having shows head to head).
Leonid and Friends was supposed to have a US tour in June-August. We’d love to go see them again and if there’s a concert within 100 miles, we’ll be there.
