A Word From the Editor Parody
In yesterdays afternoon edition of the Bad News Journal, Jordon Westcoat a BNJ Contributor wrote what was supposed to be a parody, but missed its mark.
Parody: A literary or artistic work that imitates the characteristic style of an author or a work for comic effect or ridicule. The Bad News is that the far left is unwilling to have a dialogue, and unfortunately some of our conservative patriots become enraged by the mere mention of the world Trumpians that they missed the point, which was the far lefts warped ideology.
In a word the point is PARODY. The bad news is that humor is dead and not only on the left. Jordon Westcoat, BNJ Contributor in his article The Wearing of the Masks wrote Once again Trumpians are saying that the real reason for the mask is to scare the bejesus out of all of us so that we will be willing to give up our first born to the whims of so-called medical experts. Ridiculous! The mere use of the trigger work Trumpians immediately signaled to some that the Bad News Journal is a far left wing trash publication, and some got the irony of the retort Ridiculous. This is exactly what the far left response would be. No facts, just a net opinion devoid a any authority. But the fact that Jordon used the siren call Trumpians probably stopped many readers from reading further. The point was supposed to be clear, but perhaps missed its mark. The piece was a parody.
Masks do not prevent anyone from catching the COVID. A person who is healthy wearing a mask is at increased danger of infection. Most people have no idea how to property use the mask. As Doctor Erickson explained you touch the mask and then touch your face. You just caught the COVID. Given this fact, why order people to ware the mask To scare the bejesus out of all of us so that we comply with authoritarian rule.
So wait, is this a parody of a letter from an editor?
Or an actual letter from an editor about a parody?
Or a parody of a letter from an editor about a parody?
It definitely looks that way
It definitely looks what way?
Are you the author of the 'Bad New Journal'? Did you write this 'retraction' letter? Who is Jordon Westcoat? What else has he written to compare this to to determine his ideology?
This letter goes in circles and only adds to the confusion. The author of this letter has no idea what parody is.
Correct its all a parody but also very conservative and informative.
It's not a parody. You clearly don't know what the word parody means. This blog isn't conservative or informative.
Are you trying to toll people?
Is 'Bad News Journal' your blog? What is your association with 'BNJ'?
I read the piece. It failed the most important criterion required to qualify as parody, that being the piece must be funny. It was not funny. Not humorous. It was obviously not to be taken seriously but it was not parody.
