We did our first pickup dinner order last week. I placed the order on line to a favorite restaurant.
They texted me that at 6:15 pm our order could be picked up.
We drove to their designated parking area (it was loaded with vehicles with people waiting for their order). In a few minutes after texting them, that we were there. They brought out our order, gave it to us and we left.
LOL...You live in an alternate reality.... Going to restaurants, bars and vacations is what singles and childless couples live for..... especially professionals who live in small apartments in expensive big cities.... Take those things away from them and they will completely lose their minds.... You think they’re all the sudden gonna decide to move to a house in the suburbs or a small town and have kids, and sit down for home cooked family dinners every night like people used to do?... Not happening, my friend..... we are living in post-Christian America, where children are raised to think that your career and leisure activities are all that matters in life
I’m assuming your’re very high risk for this virus and sickly, so even the flu and other potential diseases floating out there coudl threaten your life.
But there’s no way half the country will live under a roof of someone idea of a “New-normal”.......not even close. Impossible in a nation of people that love freedom of movement and where they go.see...and eat.

For the record, I plan to support a local family owned restaurant in my town the night restrictions are lifted by enjoying a meal at their table.
We’ve been getting take out at least once a week since Lockdown Larry, our wonderful Governor has so deemed we cannot congregate.
that’s ok easier fir the rest of us to get a table! I can’t wait to be able to eat out again and I desperately need a girls weekend in the mountains
Wow! I can’t imagine being so afraid of life that you would completely disengage like that. Thank you for staying home! Much more room at restaurants, bars, theaters and stores for the rest of us. Your new normal will not be our new normal. Make sure you bathe in bleach…
