Of course - it is the kid’s being jerks. Any chance if you spoke to their parents the parents would understand?
I spoke to the kids and dad yesterday (they were all four wheeling). I was really nice, told them I know it probably seemed like harmless fun to make the dogs run, but that it could harm the dogs and livestock. So, I asked nicely would they please ride further away so our dogs and theirs would not run the fence. Dad was understanding . Teen and siblings were back at it an hour later.
The teen came back today and bush hogged a new path, right next to the old one and likely still on our property. I want my husband to get involved at this point as he gets along well with the grandfather and he has a good way with not escalating things. He refuses to get involved and he has enough on his plate trying to keep business going. Which I understand.
Anyway, so looks like I’ll be building a fence. I feel I am really on my own sometimes. I hate pandemics. China is asshoe.
