It simply isn’t statistically plausible that all these people saying they had it to promote their belief that there is herd immunity are correct - even if they believe it themselves, which in many cases I doubt.

People believe what they want to believe, what they need to believe.

I have concluded that people do what they want to do, then make up excuses, reasons, justifications, theories, after the fact to justify their behaviors.

Once you have knowledge of Freudian defense mechanisms, you should be able to detect them in your own thinking. Freud existed so that we don’t have to be puppets of our defense mechanisms.
