Restaurant supply changes are different from grocery store supply chains. Thus the disparity.
Our local fruit and vegetable stand has expanded their offerings and they added a small meat section two years ago. It was fully stocked yesterday. It’s called “De Martinis” in California’s Bay Area.
We recently got filet mignon and tenderloin at Costco but they were out of pork.
I agree. I went to my local Safeway this morning and, except for the paper goods aisle, which was about 20% full, most of the rest of the place looked back to the REAL normal. And even that had an okay supply of toilet paper and paper towels, all things considered.
Yeah, there were some holes, but not like it has been the last month or so. I scarfed the last 3 frozen individual pizzas and the frozen veggies were a little sparse, but the rest looked like it did in February, before the Coronavirus Panic.
Are we turning the corner, in spite of what Emperor Gruesome it telling us? I sure hope so. The only way I knew today was Sunday was that the newspaper at my doorstep was thicker than the rest of the week. And even that’s down about 30% in weight, owing to fewer ads for crap I didn’t want anyhow!
