I had cataract surgery 3 years ago....piece of cake. I’m very happy with the results. I’m sure you’ll be fine.

I've had both eyes. Easy peasy. Actual surgery is about 10 mins and recovery is immediate and you CAN SEE! Granted I'm one of the youngest people my Dr has performed the procedure on, but it shouldn't be much of a hassle. No pain except for the tiny pain from IV.

Oh, I realize it is boringly routine, but they do warn you of possible complications. As I wrote earlier, I am a medical researcher and one does see people complaining of problems. That is not really my challenge. It is keeping up with the indicated dose-ings properly. I don't feel as mentally sharp as a few years ago - nothing too serious, but not to be ignored.

For example, there is one antibiotic drops that the pharmacy does not have without delay - and would be quite expensive. The medical eye practice says that they will provide it, but that was before this virus came up and everything was put on hold. So far no word about that med this time around. I just have to remember to get it before I need it - prob before the end of this week. I have two antibiotic eye drop meds but of course they are not the ones they want me to use. 🤔
