My sister was a dorm director in a large city as a side from her regular job. School had ended, and she had opted to stay in her apartment. The maintenance men were cleaning out the dormitory for the summer, and my sister had traded out her old furniture for new pieces. The old furniture was out in the hallway outside her door.
That night my sister went to bed and could hear the elevator going up and down. This had been going on for several nights. It was very unnerving, because she was the only one in the building!
Unable to sleep, she began to pray for protection, and the LORD gave her a vision. She saw two HUGE angels with GIANT wings. She knew they were outside her door, because she recognized the furniture on which they were sitting. Their arms were folded, and they were looking at each other. She was unable to see their features.
Peace came over her, and she was able to go to sleep.
