"All of us strongly believe Sally possesses the necessary qualities to make her an effective leader of the Justice Department, and we are honored to support her nomination to be the next deputy attorney general," the letter states.

Yates was deputy attorney general from 2015 to 2017 during the Obama administration.

I just am not sure what you are saying, that Grassley is bad, Wray is bad, is there anyone else involved who you think is bad? Do you think Trump is fooled about people?

Is there a faint possibility that Grassley did not realize how bad Yates was?
