To all people with common sense, who have watched events unfold over the past two months, and have made the attempt to read and inform themselves, carefully weighing data, and keeping an open mind, only to ultimately conclude that COVID-19 is not the Black plague, or even a Screaming Blue Meanie, and are mad as hell about it!
Mad about the inaccurate predictions. Mad about massive government overreach. Mad about the scare tactics. And most of all, mad at the easily manipulated sheeple and the naked attempt by politicians to use this flu as a last ditch attempt to defeat Trump.
So here's a way to be heard. Every night at 6 pm, let's open our windows and give a round of applause to the one Western nation that didn't reflexively join the wild herd. The one country that ignored all the noise and used their own judgement.
Sweden will be have the last laugh on all the masked doomsayers. Until they let us go back to living our normal lives, I consider myself to be an honorary Swede!

There was no way for Trump to successfully argue that we should trade more deaths, for keeping the economy open. There’s no doubt there would have been more deaths without distancing. He’s played this brilliantly, “followed the science”, and destroyed any criticism from his haters using their tools against them. I love how he quotes the “scientific” models which projected 2.2 million dead, we have much less than that, and no one crosses him on it.
Is there a good source for daily deaths, all causes, by nation, on a daily ow weekly basis? If people are dying from other causes, but reported differently for political reasons, the real numbers could be significantly different.
WHO has been stupid throughout the whole ordeal.

The virus is going to what the virus is going to do. Sweden chose to deal with it now rather than later.
Yeah, Scandanavians are a separate breed of human... You can only compare one Scandinavian country to another Scandinavian country, yes?..... What about comparing Sweden to ALL European countries?.... I dunno, like maybe Belgium or Holland, which have roughly the same population as Sweden and 2 to 3 times more deaths..... Then there’s also United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Which have way more deaths per capita than Sweden..... but keep drinking the Kool aid and using the “Scandinavian countries only” comparison because that’s the one that works good
Remember, by not doing a shut down, Sweden is deciding to accept more deaths upfront (deciding their medical system can handle the disease), but having less deaths down the line. In the end, the area under the curve (the number of deaths) will be the same regardless of which method they did. By not locking down, they just won’t have a curve that’s flattened...that’s the only difference.
The fact that you post the number of deaths and sarcastically announce Sweden is ‘winning’ makes me think you don’t really understand what Sweden is attempting. Judge them if you want... we all will....but wait a year.

How much closer is Sweden to herd immunity? We won’t know until this is done. By responding with common sense instead of hysteria, that spike could decline early, while those other countries continue to rack up deaths for the next year and a half.
